It means Green tree python.
I love snakes, I'm not a fan with the big ones, so I just try to keep them little. Athena is 24 now, I think. She was 19 when I had to give her away.
People think snakes are really mean, and because they are reptiles they think they are man eaters. I think a human and snake can bond with each other. I tell people that their kinda like humans, if you anger them, they will lash out. I tell them when you talk to a person, you have to watch their body language, and make sure that whatever you are talking about does not anger them. So it's kinda like that. When I had Athena, I had to watch her body language, hold them to much, they get restless. So really, their not mean, you just have to know when they have had enough.
It was funny, Athena would follow me around the house. I was comfortable to have her roam around the house without me being near her. So I would put her in the living room and she would roam around. And what was funny is she actually liked human attention, when I was in my room she would find me and I'll be sitting there, I'll see a little head poke up, she would get on my bed and come to me. It was so funny.
When I got Kiko, I still had her. And I was so scared that she would try to get him. One day Kiko got out and I couldn't find him, and I had Athena out. I was so scared, I went into the kitchen and there was Kiko and Athena, beside each other. Athena wasn't giving any signs of about to attack, so I watch and they were sleeping!! So Kiko a bird, and Athena a snake had a friendship!

Although, I would add, my GTP would preferably be an aru or sorong. Definitely not a biak. If GTP means the green tree Python, what does aru, sorong, and biak mean?

Aru, sorong and biak are subspecies of GTP.

Hello! I'm a snake person. I have a few common boas, a coastal carpet python, 2 corn snakes, a royal python, a hybrid royal x blood python and a Texas black rat snake I like my big guys the most but all snakes are welcome haha. It's a shame that not everybody sees the beauty in them. I'll have a scaly kid update up soon I've also got 5 turtles (an Ouachita map, 3 musk turtles and a yellow bellied slider), a beardie, a leo and a blue tongued skink. I have 2 dogs and 1 cat

Also, do you feed your snakes live, or frozen? The only problem I think I'll have with snakes is feeding them rats. I think I'll get over it with exposure. I prefer feeding them live than frozen just because it's more natural, but I'm not against anyone feeding frozen.
