lol I keep saying he or she interchangeably because I'm not used him being a her New tail feathers growing in are yellow with some dark coloration (only a small portion visible right now), so I'm 99.9% sure it's a girl. Also all the new pin feathers are yellow and grey on each pin.

yep shes a girl for sure
as for split pied, the yellow patches are not there. so i would say shes not split pied. in the videos it looked like she had yellow patches, but she just has very bright pearling on her head

Thanks guys! The ones I posted are the only ones we've taught her so far, but as she learns more, I'll post updates! Right now she has flight feathers growing in, and is generally a pin-cushion with new feathers. I can't wait for all the flights to grow in and see her start really flying! She's only capable of max 2-3 meter flights right now, which is still impressive with only 3 flight feathers!

flighted birds are a joy to watch! you can tell they enjoy it! bet you can train her to do some tricks with flying too. she seems eager to learn and easy to teach not all birds like tricks, you lucked out and got a very talented bird!
