several people ive spoken to about it so far agree, its likely nothing, most likely caused by follicle damage from falling on his tail all the time, the feathers may grow back weird for a bit or they will come back normal. its follicle damage.

nah. i toweled him. quickly grabbed it and tugged it out, came out easy didnt even bleed. right after he demanded scritches. i gave him lots of scritches for that one, he was in a much better mood for the day. he was a jerkface to me and dally this morning before i removed it. after i removed it he was back to his sweet cuddly mood. it must have really been hurting him. but its removed and he seems happier now with it gone.
