wow thats a long time! well up to this point with lenny on my finger at least in the cage it has been 8 months. butch will probably be a year. and of course lenny will take a little longer for bonding

she bites because thats what lovebirds do, lovebirds bite whether theyre tame or not lol

are their temperaments similar to budgies, as in would they rather fly away rather than bite? and training wise, going at their pace?

well it depends i think, as ive had a biter untame bird and a handfed bird lol tsuka was parent raised and dally was handfed
but tiels are generally more laid back and gentle and affectionate. theyre more hands on than budgies, a lot more cuddly. females are quieter, more gentle and more cuddly than the males who tend to be moody and nippy at times and more aggressive when hormonal. females just love to snuggle with you all day lol
