Hi,
I just been wondering how other people made their birds first Christmas special or fun for them?
This is Bandits first Christmas with me and in general because he is only 7 months old. I already know if I get any money or if mom asks what I want im going to say to spoil bandit with treats and toys and goodies. Since there is probably only two chances a year I can spoil him which is Christmas and the month of April because its His birthday and Mine.
Thanks,
laura

while i dont always have a lot of money, i try to make bird safe toys for my birds for special occasions like birthdays and christmas so if i am short on money, they always get something special all the same. my birds first christmas i made toys for them and they were really happy. this year we bought them toy parts and made toys that way for them

Thanks Casey. I just don't want to end up with a bird that doesn't know how to play with toys or something because i know he has a swing, and two toys in there and the balls at the bottom that he plays with but i just idk DX

can never go wrong if you make his toys because if he doesnt like it, you can take it apart and try again! and you dont waste money! i have not met a lovebird that didnt like paper toys! why dont you buy some christmas cupcake papers and string them up for him to rip up and destroy? i'd bet he would like them! most lovebirds go bonkers for paper
