as of today, December 5th, at 5:20 PM Pumble will have been missed for one year there is still a hole in my heart that he left one year ago that will never be filled. i am still on the journey to find another opaline yellow face type 2. i hope he lives on through Butch and Lenny. i think he is keeping an eye on me and the fids. when i have my doubts with fully taming butch, i remember Pumble and how i didnt want him at first and i thought he was untrainable. he turned out to be the best trained bird on the universe! butch will take a while but i will never give up on him i never have a thought that i will never see Pumby again, because i know when i die, he will be sitting there at the gates of Heaven waiting for me.

i know!! ;D i always look for fun at the stores but every one had YF type I's rather than type II's, and none of them are opaline one day i will find his look alike at a shelter and i will adopt him/her

*sigh* that is good and bad but i fear that if i got one that looked exactly like him, i would try and change that birds personality to make a 'new' pumble. it would be nice to have a YF at some time though....

yeah you might not want to feel pressured into expecting one to look like pumble to be like him. but i understand the feeling. you begun to favour that mutation because it reminds you of pumble. i see lime green full body greywings and they remind me of toby. i miss him too. its almost been 2 years here.

when i went to the shelter to get butch and lenny, i saw a YF T2 dilute sitting and looking out the window, it was a female and i was sooooo tempted to get it seeming that pumby always used to looks out the window. i know that i wanted butch at the time, but i saw lenny and i like his color so i got him instead. sometimes i wish i had only gotten one bird but i know that it would have been butch (because i saw him first) and i know i would have been disappointed with the taming process. maybe lenny is a blessing in disguise
