i wish leon would eat a mash of veggies but hes not that crazy for them. i made those birds cookies that you had the recipe for and they came out good, butch seemed to like them and leon isn't sure. im just nervous about them because of the egg, but i guess thats healthy for them right?

egg is good for birds, but i remove the yolk as i feed pellets. if you dont feed pellets, eggs make an excellent source of protein! if you dont offer pellets, eggs can be given a couple times a week. scramble them up (no milk) and even added in some grated veggies

I only added pellets as a topping but I did not se the yolk but next time is it safe to add the yolk? I will also use a little bit more honey because I barely used any this time and it was a pretty big batch! I must have used at least a cup or seed

yolk is fine. i prefer not to use it mostly because my guys eat pellets, and egg yolk is very high in protein. i just avoid giving them too much but, yolk is good for your birds if they dont eat pellets

well, you can make them differently sometimes. the birdy cookies can be made using dry fruit and stuff like that too
