i think he got used to the toy always available and got attached to butch. i didnt take him out for a day and a half and i played with him on his little ledge, and now he will sit on my shoulder and climb on my arms to try and find the toy he has actually gone back to "getting tall" with butch (trying to stand taller than butch and shoo him away when his toy is out) which is good and bad- i got my little buddy back but butch really misses him. butch still feeds him though so its OK

its set up differently now but i just leave his door open and let him go in and out... and sometimes i forget his door is open and i come in my room 10 minutes later and there he is playing and im like O__O

are they getting a new cage or are you just cleaning everything?

when we get a house, we want the cockatiels to have a room to themselves to live cage free all day just having that freedom to go in and out of the cage as they want

That's kind Of like my birds now I just have to check on them occasionally because Leon will fly on to the floor

lol when we get a house with an extra room, i'm hoping to turn it into an office for my writing and let the tiels have free roam. i'd love to let the lovebirds have free roam too but they dont get along with the tiels and they cant behave themselves lol they need constant supervision. the tiels, they're little angels LOL

sometimes, but sometimes he can harass them and chase them around if he is in a mood. so he has to be supervised. he kinda blew it recently when he didnt stop lunging at tsuka and ticking him off lol

and i thought mango was sweet i guess its like leon. he can be reall nice to butch and then get really mean if he is is playing with his toy

it depends on mango's mood. he wont hurt the tiels. he just thinks its fun to chase them if the tiels run away from him. its a game to him, but not to the tiels. when he misbehaves like this, he gets put back in his cage so the tiels can be left in peace lol

its not his fault the tiels dont want to play his game
