some more toys with bells and mirrors to make my partners in crime happy mirror and bells with loose movable beads at bottom. i found pre-cut mirrors in different sizes at AC Moore mirror, hay, cuttle bone, seed block, beads on string, and a tooth pick with secured beads that slides in the cardboard. the beads are jammed onto the toothpick to give it round edges, the whole unit slides, not the beads! a shredder book for the little birds or "foot notes" (foot toys) for the bigger birds! leon has started eating up the pages! bell with basket of safe sized beads to play and throw around. **in the bead and bell strand, the second piece of string is threaded through the top bead only and was cut and taken out so no heads could get stuck ** small 15" x 10" rope net made out of 'paracord' for my tree

you just inspired a toy for MUNCH if i can design it so that she can't destroy it lol i am going to make the basket toy, but using non-shreddable parts and make a home made basket ball for her lol she would like that.
i REALLY like the book toy too, i wanna make some for mango. maybe the cockatiels. but for the tiels i have to be careful with what paper i use... dally eats paper lol

glad i inspired you i made the basket one because leon sometimes lifts up the bells on his other toys and hold them up like e wants to put them in something. he doesnt do that with this one but he does love taking the beads out of the basket. i cut one of the wiffle golf balls in half for the basket (took me forever!) i think leon eats the paper to but im not sure.. sometimes he will take the top layer of cardboard off, but there wont be a lot on the bottom of the cage i should bake a book with lettuce pages!!!!!! i wish we had a dehydrator so i could dry the lettuce leaves so they are crispy

an oven on the lowest setting works the same as a food dehydrator

apparently birds dont taste the heat from peppers like we do. strange, eh?
we home dry a lot of fruits and such for treats for the birds. strawberries are well loved dried. same with kiwi lol
