just coming out of one. he has little pin feathers coming in now. hes growing his wings back- i see blood feathers (thats what they're called right?). i am so afraid he's going to break one when he dives out of the tree when he starts doing it really often, then he goes back in his cage

dally's only ever broke one blood feather, and that was a crash landing on her tail lol never one in her wings. tsuka on the other hand, i cant count his blood feathers lol

When they break them do they eventually stop bleeding, or does it turn in a feather cyst?

they stop bleeding and you are supposed to pull blood feathers and they stop bleeding after.
feather cysts happen under the skin. tsuka got one from follicle damage

so you have to pluck the blood feather after its done bleeding
