can you house him in his own cage for now while you work with him? do you have maybe a back shed or something you can go inside and work with him there?

why don't your parents like a bird in the house? as long as you clean up after it She says that the bird smells bad and it attracts ants. I can't smell anything wrong and I clean them everyday They don't like it and its impossible to change their mind! I had such a great time with him inside but it's too bad I have a garage but other that that...nothing

I know! I just can't convince them Maybe when I get my own house I can have them wherever I want but that's going to be in a long time from now... I just noticed, did you just become an admin?

it's a difficult and unique situation for taming. living with your parents isnt always easy, but its best to respect their wishes.
would having spike in his own cage outside work? have him in his own cage, a cage big enough for him, but small enough for you to move around? i'd be leery on the garage because of fumes and chemicals that are often found in the garage. it's not easy.

I could put spike in a cage outside But It might be hard because he can't get outside of his cage. I think it would be best if I left him in the aviary and try to do my best. I have got him to fly on me for 2 seconds but i don't think it will be possible to get him to preen on me or sit on my head or give him scratches but at least I have marshmallow and tweety(marshmallow thinks I'm his/her parent) and tweety loves me to death
