Leon is far from a people bird  he would rather be with butch than me. I do make him give me a kiss on the lips before he goes back in his cage though  trying to keeps a good relationship with him  |

Oh yes I have been having him come out on the ledge outside his cage so I can play with him. Yesterday I took him out yesterday to eat veggies. He loves lettuce and broccoli. He chose broccoli over millet!  |

i hate to feed him the same veggies everyday, but i am trying to make it a habit to feed them veggies when i come home from school. bobby is the only other one who likes lettuce, the girls and bowie won't eat anything  |

once they all share a cage, or out of cage time, once one eats something new, the rest will eventually at least try it too its a flock thing! |

My order came in with natural pellets and veggie nutiberries. I dont think either are popular. I know Leon likes to snack on the fruit pellets, which I am pretty much out of. I want to get a bag at petsmart buts it's so expencive compared to MSBS |

yeah, the 2.5# bag of the natural. im not sure anyone is eating them still  i know bobby (and bowie i think) like the nutriberries i got, which i am satisfied because those are healthy enough to be a complete diet butch and the girls are still seed eaters... im not 100% sure the girls like the fruit pellets. i hope that once they are together, they will learn that everything is good to eat. i am also getting curious of who will be friends on the tree. i know leon loves everyone, but when i bring him to visit the girls, pickle gets aggressive and wants him all to herself bobby love to sing to leon because bowie does not like to sing to him. i am really hoping butch and bowie will bond because leon is going to leave him once the other friends are out! pickles is really close if not ready to be taken out, i just dont know if i want to take her out in the bathroom like i did with everyone else, or on the tree with someone. lots to do here!! |
