That is what I usually do Casey, I pass it on to Duke to finish it off. The conures are very fussy about toys, they don't play with toys much, they prefer playing with humans most.

it looks awesome! Tsuka would go NUTS for that toy, I think I might have to make him one of those!
How did you do it?

yeah i got the idea from you toy video same thing with making a perch, a hanger bolt in one end. i chose a branch that branched off in to more branches and i cut the other ones off (with more branches, it gives you more room to make a hole). then i (my dad : drilled a hole that was slightly smaller than the dowel (i picked up a value pack with total of 8 and 4 different sizes at walmart for 97 cents!). then after the hole is drilled halfway through, you should be able to fit the dowel. if you did the correct size hole, the dowel should go in relatively easy, but be snug enough that it wont fall out and another toy i just made in hopes to get butch interested in pellets while being entertained with things to feel with his beak! i call it "The Board Game" shown with seed until butch get used to the toys (he is soooo scared with the ring toss perch ) materials top left to right: coconut rope, plastic pacifier, polar fleece knot, vine ball, beaded string with ring materials bottom left to right: jute knot, mirror (to attract him : , and a loose ring

i see the snowman!!! butch doesnt really like the board game i had him sit next to it, he felt the rope and cardboard and then went on the side of the cage for a long time screaming and flock calling now he sits on the bottom perch singing all the time...to his cuttle bone... i was really hoping that he would like it.
