I think they get the name from the love heart shape they sit in when they're roosting together  They're very unloving! |

They're named lovebirds because of how affectionate they are to their mates.
Also, when peachface lovebirds sit together, their faces make a heart.

I never knew they made a heart shaped with their feathers. I just looked it up, not many pictures but i saw one that was cute.
