Thanks but actually it's the opposite. None of the males want her as a mate. They go for Cloudia for some reason. The only explanation I think they go for Cloudia is because she's a normal grey. My George is like that. I have paired him up with a few different girls but he only accepted the one that was lutino, like himself. They had a lutino girl which is Marshmallow. The lutino mate died so George paired up with his lutino daughter, Marshmallow. They are now super bonded. They mate when they want to but Marshmallow doesn't lay eggs. Maya is very lonely. She's always on the opposite side of the aviary from the other birds. She masturbates like 10 times a day. I can always hear her with all that chitty chatter she makes. It's pretty sad because I'm trying to bond with her but she only friendly when she is in my house. When she is in the aviary, she is scared of hands. When I bring her inside, she LOVES head scratches and she likes to be on me. When I put her back in the aviary she forgets what we just did and returns to her lonely scared self.

Oh that's quite sad for her then! I thought she looked really happy and content. How many males do you have?

5 males and 4 girls. She just masturbated again. Poor girl. Maybe they will accept her when the days get longer and breeding season kicks in.

Oh I'm sure they will! She's a pretty girl, I'm sure one of them at least will want to have some chicks with her

Especially because she masturbates a lot. One of them will definetly want to join in on the action. All we really need is them days to get longer and for Cloudia to keep rejecting them. That girl has 2 guys singing to her the whole day. Cloudia already has a mate, Griffin. They are bonded but they don't mate because Griffin doesn't know how. They tried to mate a couple of times though.

They all seem to be pretty bad at understanding mating at the moment Are they all quite young birds?
