Ok, December's contest is NOT going to be Holiday themed, but we are going to do sleeping birds!
Members are allowed 2 photos each.
You CAN change your photo later on, as long as it meets the deadline.
Must be your photos, doesnt have to be your bird.
Have fun and try not to get sleepy looking at all the tired birdies!
This contest closes December 15th! Voting will then begin shortly after.

My adult birds snap to attention every time I try to get a picture of them snoozing, so all I can offer is pics of passed-out baby cockatiels:

i think the one in the hand looks the most comfy i love how the line up of babies are in order from youngest to oldest. was this intentional?

Yes, I lined them up for the picture. With every clutch I make sure to get at least one age line-up photo, and in this one I added an egg to show how little the youngest baby was. Those are Shodu's babies but it's not her egg. This is obviously not a contest photo since everyone is awake. But it's one of my favorite lineup shots. This is Shodu's first clutch, and Teela and Squeebis are the last two chicks in the line:

Here's a little lutino-baby photo humor. The lutino girl is Leia, one of the 2009 babies. In her early life she was a passionate people-hater and she's telling me about it in the picture. But before she was weaned she turned into a passionate people-lover, which is typical of the hater chicks. There's one in almost every clutch.

yeah still something about the lutino look in the babies that make them cuter, though the one with the plucked crest is adorable (likely because he has been plucked funny). going to assume the lutino and 2 WF cinnamons are females right?

The normal grey with the plucked crest is Henry, and his crest doesn't look any better now. He's passionately in love with his mother (I should have named him Oedipus) and keeps offering his head to her for scritchies, the fool. Shodu doesn't give scritchies and will pluck anyone who asks for them.
Yes, and the whiteface grey is a male. All my girl chicks are either lutino or cinnamon, and all the boys are male. There's actually a slight chance of getting a grey girl or cinnamon lutino girl due to a crossover, but as far as I know that hasn't happened yet.
