That sounds so scary! How did you get him back? Was this your severe macaw?

That sounds so scary! How did you get him back? Was this your severe macaw? Yeah. I took him out to play in his big cage. And I didn't see the hawk. I always look outside before taking any animal outside, and I saw nothing. So I took him out put him in his big cage. I was washing our family car when I heard a loud scream. The hawk was on top of his cage. Kiko (my bird) opened the cage door, the hawk already kinda opened it. And he flew as fast has he could. Thats why I keep him flighted. That way I know he will be able to escape from whatever his going to harm him.

You know that weird? I was just having a conversation with my girlfriend about how I was afraid to leave my sun conure outside in his cage unsupervised. Before my conure, I had an aviary with 9 cockatiels. One day, I look on the roof of the aviary and I see a huge hawk looking down at them like food. I went outside and chased that hawk away (which my family said was dangerous but I didn't care). You were very lucky to get him back safely and I just have to say. You have one VERY smart bird for exiting that cage.
