Eh, BCCs are huge conures. They have a large beak and aren't as feisty as sunnies, so if they get upset, Tango could get hurt.

BCC's and Suns are roughly the same size. I looked it up and it is aloud that they can be housed together. They are going to be in an aviary all to themselves and I'm going to get the conure as a baby so they will have plenty to time and space to at least tolerate each other. I'm not going to get a BCC until after months. It's not going to be soon but it's good to start planning.

I'm interested in red bellied parrots but probably won't ever own one. I wouldn't mind babysitting someone' else's though

Red bellies are really pretty birds!
Update on the baby sun: I'm leaving away for a week and gave him to the pet shop where I bought him from to watch and feed him until I return.

They remind me of Beaker. The blue face mask with the green body is like his white face mask and dark grey body. Blue crown conures remind me of a macaw. They look similar to a mini macaw as well. I'm actually interesting in blue crowns now. I'll probably look into one of them in the near future. They can get along with Suns, right? I'm just wondering because BCC's are bigger than Suns. IMO there has got to be a reason as to why they're called ARAtinga conures when you also have the ARA macaws

I actually think that most of the aratinga conures get on considerably well and even more so in an aviary environment where they have space to move away from one another. Suns and blue crowns have even been known to hybridize. My favour. My favourite aratinga is probably the sun conure. They're just so mind blowingly beautiful and they have such cheeky personalities
