Do conures like fruits? I have had cockatiels and I'm used to them not liking fruits. Are Conures the same?

Conures love fruits! Most like them more than vegetables actually.

That's great. I remember giving watermelons to my tiels. They wouldn't even come near it.

Oh conures will eat anything you give them as long as you show yourself eating it first haha, They're very greedy and jealous when they want to be. Try apples, grapes, mango, pineapple, melons, oranges etc. Mine all took to the chop diet very well

When I was weaning birds I'd just scatter fruits and foods around their brooder so they'd have something to play with and pick at, it's amazing how quick they pick it up or at least get a taste for it. My budgies are particularly fond of chillis as chicks, no idea why!

My larger parrots always liked some so I stuck some between the bars of the weaning cage just as something to play with and they demolished them!

My lovebird would never touch fruits or veggies and I've tried for years. She does like her fruity pellets although. The conures are willing to try anything! They eat seedless grapes, kale, spinach, apple slices, mixed veg, tangerine slices, pears, basically anything! They are not too picky.

The conure loves eating the fruit in his seed mix blend. I was eating a banana next to him and he wanted it. I gave him a piece (I didn't chew from it) and he didn't want it. He wanted the banana that I was eating, not his own.
