2nd layer of flights! (212 views)

I clipped Rio's wings a few months ago and I have been really excited lately since he just grew his first flights on both of his wings. I saw him spread out his wings yesterday and I now see a second layer of tiny flights that just grew. Today, I have him out with my and I see him shaking uncomfortably for a few seconds. I started looking at him and i saw him just shake out a clipped flight feather. It looks like he's getting ready for thus 3rd layer. I can't wait for him to start flying again. He's slowly flying more and more distances by the day. I'm so happy!!

Gratz zorros getting good at his aim even tho his not grown in.

Sweet! Rio has fully grown both flights on his left wing. He almost has his second flight fully grown on his right as well. He also lost a clipped wing feather and another baby green feather. He's molting fast!
