Your display name is your username that people see you as. You can freely change your display name yourself as a member. NOTE: Your actual username (the name you signed up with) can not be changed. We (as admins) cannot change it. You will still have to login with the same username you signed on with, but everything else should use your display name.

Now, on to the questions:

Why should I change my display name?

For one, if you want a different username, obviously. But another reason is to add capitalization to it. Usernames that you sign up with do not allow any capital letters. But you can change it in your display name.

How do you change it?


Changing you display name is VERY easy. Go to your profile, click 'edit profile', and click the personal tab. The display name change will the the first option there. Just type your new name and click 'save changes' on the bottom.

By default, members get 2 changes. After that, it automatically locks. If you need further changes, just ask any staff member and we will be more than glad to do it for you.
