Rio's b-day is exactly next week. He will be turning one years old. How can I make this day special for him?

When I got Kiko, they did not tell me his actually birth date, but the month, and it's Jan. So I just picked a date, the 4th. Anyways, I just get him a lot of toy's. I put them on the floor and he goes at it.

They didn't tell me his exact birthday either. They just said he was around 4 weeks old, so I subtracted 4 weeks from the 28th (the day I got him) and ended up with April 30th.  We ordered some new toys for him but it will be coming a few days after his birthday. I think I'm going to make some birdie cookies. I'll spend the day with his as well. Maybe take him to a park with his smaller cage or something. Any other ideas are more than welcome. |

Are there any special treats that you don't let him have too much of because a lot of it wouldn't be great for him? Let him have a little more than usual. I'm talking about things like sunflower seed not potato chips.

I do not. He likes hanging out with us while I have his seed mix out which has all of this favorite foods in it.

You could make him something really yummy to eat, give him some toys and treats and hang out with him for the day ? I can't believe he's a year old already |
