Bird carriers. Good idea? (346 views)

I have tried both the aviator and the flight suit harness with no luck. It just made Rio afraid of me. Lately, I have been thinking of getting a travel cage recently. I'm planning on taking him with me outside to enjoy the outdoors.

Do you think it's a good idea? Will he be scared the whole time out? If you take your birds out in carriers, please let me know you experiences.

I plan to clicker train zorro to wear it on his own. Im getting leather 4 feathers harness. Aviatirs are not great 4 small birds. N other harness i bought is much easier. But dosent look comfy.

I hope it works out for you. I didn't try that brand and I don't think I will. Harnesses don't work for me. Maybe I'm training them wrong. I don't know.

Good news. The carrier came! I took Rio out in it and he was making such cute little chirps in it. I was worried it was going to be too small but it's perfect. It's a little too dark inside it though, so I took out sides of it and am replacing it with mesh. I'll show you guys the outcome.

I look forward to seeing the pics I would have tried a back pack or similar sort of mesh carrier. I used to take one of my green cheeks out in one and she loved it
