My birds don't really like showering. Should I force them or should I just leave them alone?

It's preferred. Birds needs baths to keep their feathers and skin clean, hydrated and healthy. Helps them fly better too. You can always just give them a spritz in the cage. They may not like it, but it never hurts.

Thank you. I'll try it tonight. Can I shower then at night?

Daytime is better. That was they have plenty of daylight to dry off and won't catch a chill.

Bluekeet is right. It's best to bathe then in the morning to give them enough time to dry off.

Have they got different options for bathing? Depending on the species they tend to have different habits too. What birds do you have?
