I was messaged a few months back about an Indian ringneck that needed a new home and I said no. Well, I was asked if I'd like to take her again earlier this week and I couldn't turn her away after seeing the photos...
Sigh. I really didn't want to take anything else on any time soon but I do have some space for her and a nice big cage. I seem to have a soft spot for ringnecks in need of some TLC. Echo was wild caught, Squishee was in her 20s and disabled... I can't help myself
I don't know if she has a name, I did ask but they said they don't know themselves. I asked how old she was, they don't know... I will find out when I get her and check out her ring. I was hoping to pick up a pair when the bird room was finished but I guess I'll just be looking for a cock now. What I can tell you about her is her mutation is turquoise. That's about it. She isn't going to be a companion parrot. Some birds just want peace and quiet. She looks terrified there and I won't be pushing her one bit. I'm sure she will settle in no time
I just want to give her some toys, some good fresh food and a damn good misting! Asiatics LOVE getting soaked and it makes a massive difference to their appearance, especially as they're like the worst moulters ever!
I'll be trying to think of a name. Any suggestions are welcome. I'm going to be getting her at the end of September hopefully

I'm very partial to IRNs, even if they're not everybody's cup of tea. I personally don't find that they make the best companion parrots but they are still amazing to keep!
