So glad that my Harris' hawk is finishing up his moult, I can actually fly him again!
His fat weight straight out of the aviary is 1.10 (737g). He flies spot on around 1.6 (624g). He's now 1.9 (709g) and back out again. I got about 10 shorter flights out of him and a couple around 20ft. Not bad for the first day!
If not for the weather then we'd be working a bit harder but at the moment as I type it is thundering and lightening agaaaain. Not good weather here at all!
