Welcome to the forum...smaller forums are more intimate and you get to know each a lot better than the big ones!

well its going ok. i could touch lenny's belly before but he was afraid so i went back about 3 steps to putting my finger about 3-5 inches away and now i am back to 1 in-touching his belly! he is still a little unsure but is better than last time. butch on the other hand will only kiss my finger and then go back to his intense eye pinning! oh and when i took them to get their nails clipped the parrot lady said that lenny was about 5 yrs old and butch was about 3 yrs old. and lenny was bird mill ( ) bred in Florida and was bough somewhere here in massachusetts!

you got them from a shelter, right? whoever bought them could have bought them at a store. stores often get their birds from mills but not all do. but that aside, as long as they are healthy and you take good care of them, they are in a great place with you and it shouldnt matter where they came from, theyre good with you now. they have a good home they have a band?

lenny has a band- not much info on it though. i think it just says: AAAA33 or something like that with lots of A's and 3's
