consists of an origami box, hay, oat sprays, and jute rope with cheerios! It is a favorite in the cage. Lenny and Butch love to chew on the cheerios and the oat sprays (which they havent quite figured out that they are edible too!) you can fid out how to make the box on youtube and then you just use a hole puncher to make a big hole on the top and 2 on the side for a twist tie (or something else) to attach it to the cage!

It is very good; I believe it keeps busy a lot their minds.. It is a good idea!! did you invent it or did you learn it from someone else? i did think of it myself. for a wile now i have done origami so i thought i would apply it to my hobby which is the fids. if you look on the petco website and look at their toys, most are origami with little extras. how to make the cube: another 'ball'... could be used for a toy- cut the tips of the spikes off and put hay etc in there: *sorry if the videos are bad, i did not watch them because i know how to make them* with fids, origami is your best friend. you can make baskets to hold food, foot toys, treats, etc. or just make a simple animal etc just for then to move around, chew, and what-not....

here is some origami i did in the past: if you take the last link and make 30 of the units and put them together, you can make a jumbo sized ball for bigger birds (or show! ) these are the best (out of the ones i made) for making into bird toys. i think you could find a video on youtube to make the swirl one if you type in "swirl origami" or something like that... if you want, i can post pics of how to make the small square thing in the front. it is super east and if you make it bigger than the one i did, it allows plenty or room for making holes and adding accessories!
