Well I asked because I'm planning on doing a cbc before introducing her to the birds..so originally I figured if the wbc count was normal it would be safe. But maybe not. We'll just see how she improves over the next month and a half. If she doesn't improve then I'll ask the vet about PDD diagnosis. I don't know if her body would be up for surgery at this point, but maybe by that time it would be alright. If she did have PDD, she would get worse and not better.

fingers crossed, a lot of other illnesses can mimic PDD so i wouldnt worry though, just was wondering. chances arent that common actually but keep an eye on her, shes in good hands

I started her on probiotics again and I don't think she's drank any of the water yet but her last poop only had one seed in it. So maybe it's just stress.

how many does she normally have in the poop?
can you take a photo? it would be really good to add to the poop reference guide, my photo only has one, so it would be great to have some more photos

I'll take a picture next time she throws a seedy one...sometimes the whole thing is filled with seed and sometimes it is just a few and then occasionally it's just one or two. Or she just has normal liver disease poop, it's bright green and stringy.

Well, I thought I just aspirated her..but my friend talked me through it and I think it's just medicine in her sinuses. But even if she did get doxy in her lungs, she is already on the antibiotic (doxycycline) and antibiotics is the treatment for aspiration pneumonia. But I'm still super uneasy because I'm at work now and my mom and sister are watching her. By the time I get out of here the only place that's open is the emergency vet clinic, which doesn't specialize in birds.
Oh and I found some poop pictures on my phone that are of decent quality..so I'll get those to you next time I'm on the desktop..I usually get onto the forums and everything else using my phone, so it's not very ideal for posting pictures.

i would think not lol thats scary i wonder, is there a way to mix the dose with food she likes? like say scambled egg or something like that, just a tiny tidbit you'd know she'd eat all of and just put the dose in that?

She's fine. No more clicky noises or anything...and she is acting normally again. The problem with dosing her with food is that she only eats white millet, no matter what I do. I'm sprouting seeds to try her on so hopefully that'll be a step toward her accepting veggies.
