Yes I agree .. The choise (to clip or not) depends by the surroundings where the bird lives; Thus sometime is safer to clip and sometime is better unclipped; I have read your new thread, I think your analisys is perfect because it summarizes all the possibilities.

i only have one flighted bird, i love watching birds fly, but tsuka being flighted attacks my face too much and mango and munch are a danger to themselves lol so only dally can fly as she is the only one without problems.

I'm happy to say all of my birds are pretty good fliers and they don't attack me!! Though Kirk used to could not fly to save his life..but he has come a LOOOONNNGGG way; he used to crash into a wall every time he took off and now he can fly circles around a small room until he finds a spot to land.
