Emergencies happen, so it is always good to be prepared. Having First Aid Kit prepared beforehand is a good idea to keep on hand.
What should your kit have:
Tweezers/Needlenose plyers Cayenne Pepper Powder Pedialyte Q-tips Cornstarch/Flour Bandages Syringes (both 0.5 cc and 10 cc) Scissors Heat lamp Vinyl Gloves (for sanitary reasons and can be filled with hot water for quick emergency warmth for a chilled bird) Aloe Vera (Pure, not with chemicals) Hand Towels Gauze Vet wrap Quick Stop (nail use only)
Emergency Evacuation Kit:
All of the above Food Bottled water Handfeeding formula Travel cage already pre set up A toy or two Spray Millet Ginger powder (for motion sickness)
