haha lenny got right on the perch with some millet. i think lovebirds would be cool to have. i love the peach faced green ones that have very bold colors. when i was adopting butch and lenny. there was 2 lovies in different cages and they were adorable but their whistle was ear piercing!!

they are kinda loud compared to tiels and budgies lol
i wouldnt get lovebirds with the budgies... theyre dangerous to other birds, you would have to have separate out of cage times for them.

yes of course. if i had any other bird besides budgies, they would have separate out of cage time. even if they were new budgies they would have separate play time for a wile then i would slowly introduce them

i have every option to get another budgie, i would go straight to the petstore i got him from, they breed their own there and theyre taken care of. but we cannot handle another pet of any kind, we dont have the time nor money or space. we're all full up. we had him little over a month or so, it was so short i do miss him and i still visit his grave to this day. we buried him by a creek that he can always hear the water. he loved the sound of water, whenever we ran the water he would chirp and sing and it was the only time he ever chirped and sang... now he can always hear the water where he rests.

that is so sweet! Mr Pumble is buried under 2 big sassafras trees in the side yard. that is sad that you only had toby for a month. do you still have days where you miss him so much you just want to cry? i have thse days when things arent going well with the fids, or i replay his death in my head and try to get the thought out of my head, then i blame myself for it and i have to relax by watching the fishies....

yeah i have those days too. the incident happened right in front of me too. and i see it often still in my mind. we had to put him down though because he wasnt going to make it. i get depressed some days and it can bother me a lot still. but at least he had a good home here and he wasnt left to suffer. its been well over a year now and it still bothers me and likely always will just hang in there
