link to the pics at the bottom last night i decided to make some new toys and a foraging cup for butch and lenny. they usually get a paper box with hay, cheerios, and oat sprays. i thought i would put a new toy in replacing the box. the pic of it is labeled 'new toy'. i also included a picture of my cage to sow the big door so people know what i am talking about when i post about their training the 'blank toy' is simple to make (i can post instructions if anyone wants) and i a great base to add your own accessories to. i started with a rope lining and added a web. i put millet under the web but really any thing else can be put in to entertain you bird. this toy is too big and 'scary' to put in my cage so i just use to to show some toy ideas some of the pics have descriptions if you click on the pictures!! s1153.photobucket.com/albums/p517/thepetbarn/Parakeets/ ;D

i love how you made this look like a hummingbird, this is absolutely beautiful! and i love the colour of your room! green is my favourite colour! hehe it does look like a humming bird but i made it to look more like a bee because of the stripes and the feather base as the stinger and since then i always call those the 'bumble bee feathers' i have one of the feathers from butch and the yellow ones are from my friends keets. i like the green i chose for my room. i love the color scheme of green/ blue/ white! at some point i will have to take pics of my room (with all the fishies) and post them. my room is pretty clean but when you look at it in the camera, it looks messy~ lots of fish supplies hidden everywhere!

our place is small so its hard to organize things properly. our walls are boring white, but we live in a small apartment, and we dont want to have to move ALL the animals before painting.

yes that would take a while to move everything, plus it would take a while to get the smell out. put a few decorations and pictures up and no one will notice the white walls
