here are the newest toys i made! i have them prepared them for when i split the fids into 2 cages for bonding i cant wait to test them. they are east to make you just need: -cardboard - bird safe rope -(optional) millet/ oat sprays/ cupcake liners (pink and white stuff sticking out of cardboard) this one has 3 "legs" at the bottom. i cut the card board into triangles and squares. i used leftover pieces as 'spacers' shown on left leg. hopefully the oat spray will attract them. i took individual oats and shoed them in the cardboard. this is the simpler of the 2. the bottom got a little messy and wast just supposed to have 2 squares at the end of the rope, but i got carried away with the knotting the pink stuff is cupcake liners. i cut them into 4ths to make more.

the one with 3 legs i designed to look like the wooden kabob toy that they have now. they like chewing the rope on that one and i wanted to give it a break. for now i am just hanging the new toys on the outside of the cage so they get used to them more

she was worse before, she was so hormonal and determined to nest that she was making herself sick from looking for nests every day. we gave her a nest let her lay and got it all out of her system and she's calmed down since lol she laid only ONE egg lol but she was super aggressive at that point lol
