So, I haven't shared the rest of my animals! Other than deh birdies, I also have two amazing dogs.
This is Minnie. She is a pitbull (although, a lot of people are asking me what she is mixed with, so I'm on a mission to find out if she is mixed, lol). She was given to me by my best friend, Valerie, on my 18th birthday, so she came from a breeder. She will be 2 years old on January 1st. She is my girl, my baby, my love, my right hand lady. She is the dog I will be using to fulfill my dog obedience career. She prefers smaller dogs to bigger dogs, but if you are friendly to her, and you like her, she'll probably like you. lol. She is very human friendly, but if she senses something bad about you, she won't like you. She likes kids, but because she is so hyper, I can't fully trust her. I keep forgetting that she isn't much of a puppy anymore, but she continues to look like a puppy. Like yesterday, I said she was almost a year old, LOL. Nope. My girl is growing up.
This is Caulote "Teddy", but we usually call him Monkie. The vet calls him "Teddy". He is a Jackhuahua (Jack Russell Chihuahua) and he will be 3 years old on January 13. He was given to my family for my 17th birthday by my dad's friend who's female dog had three little puppies. He is a very sweet, but moody, stubborn, bratty, stuck-up dog. LOL. He LOVES people and attention. If he doesn't get attention, he'll FIND a way to get attention. Whether it be doing tricks, or sticking his head into your armpit, or jumping and pushing his front paws on your leg. He's a barker, and an annoying one. Training doesn't work on him, so sometimes the static collar has to come out, and we HATE putting it on, but it works. He knows he can't bark when we put it on. Its on an everyday thing because we can usually control him with a water sprayer (he no like water...). But other than that, he is a friendly and lovable companion. And for those who will say be careful with your pitbull, it could bite someone, Monkie has already bitten me, and has drawn blood. He WILL attack you if you push his buttons. He growls when something doesn't go his way. Any dog can be aggressive, it just isn't Minnie, unless she needs to be to defend herself. Monkie does it because he can. All I did was correct him, and he got hold of my thumb, and BAM, there was a hole, and blood spilled.
This is Delaila, but we called her DeeDee. She was a pit-chow mix who lived to be only 11 years old. She was put down about three years ago. She had awful arthritis. I wasn't there, I was at school, and no one told me until two days later that she was gone. She was an outdoor dog, and since my dad usually was the one to care for her, I didn't really spend much time with her...and I regret it IMMENSELY. I spiritually promised her to change, and be there for my dogs, in her honor. I am now the one who feeds, bathes, and waters my dogs. I even do the medical stuff, like give them their meds, and ointments when needed. All my parents do is pay. I think if it wasn't for DeeDee, I wouldn't have matured the way I have. Not fully mature, I can be immature, lol, but I now think more. I grew up in other words. I'm responsible. I miss her, and still cry occasionally. I just really wish I were there for her when she needed it....
And I just wanted to share little Goddard because he is so dang CUTE! He is my uncle and new aunt's little Shih Tzu puppy. I puppysat him a few weeks ago, and I also gave them a few little tips on how to potty train. ^_^ He's so soft. xD
