well i took lenny out again today to sit on a perch on butchs cage so they can hang out. and while lenny is with butch i work with him with his tricks so maybe butch will learn. and butch did learn today!!! i had lenny sing on command for some millet, and of course he does his quiet little tweet. then butch kind of caught on and when i said lenny sing, lenny would sing a quiet note and butch would scream instead he is so cute i think butch really can learn a lot from lenny. and today was one of those days i just stared at them and said to lenny and butch that i couldnt have adopted any better birds than them.. one of those 'feel good' moments with them

budgies are so smart, people tend to underestimate just how great of pets they can be! that is one advantage of having two birds. they tend to learn from eachother and if one trusts something or does something, the other is likely to pick it up

i really home to put them together soon butch i so cute and handsome though. i hope he really benefits from lenny and watches him so when i train him he can do amazing things like leonard

they are a flock so they will see what the other is doing and might eventually show interest in it

i worked with lenny again yesterday while he was out. he is getting soooo good at high-fiving!! he taps my finger quickly instead of holding on soon i will get more videos of him ;D

my birds only know two tricks lol they've never been interested, i wonder how many tricks yours will learn

lenny wil probably be full of tricks! butch will probably just know 'sing' other than kiss, which he always does

ive tried teaching dally tricks when she was a baby. nope she only wanted to cuddle lol

dally is about as cuddly as most small birds come lol shes abnormally cuddly for a cockatiel, but most tiels love to be pet.
