i am ready for another bird, but the problem is getting it by my mom. it doenst matter what i ask for, i cant have it. my dad doesnt care because he knows i take care of everything well and my brother gets a lot more than me. last christmas i asked for the PERMISION to get more animals, not for them to acually buy me anything.... and i got presents instead... including a ton of socks- no lie. it kind of sad because my brother who is a little older likes tractors, and he always get more (he has about 30 of his own) and he has a little 'business' with fixing other peoples. and i just sit there watching us get more and more tractors, snowblowers, lawn mowers, and then i as for a tiny pet- a hamster (which i have had one before), a mouse, a keet, a finch or two and then i get a rude "no!" and a change of conversation, or my mom will tell people that she takes care of my pets all the time, which is only when i sleep over my friends house and her only job is to fill the rabbits water, but she does more than that on here own, including simple things that make me sooooo irritated when i come home (even during the school day when i dont want her to touch anything). its frustrating! and maybe this year i will have the courage to ask, but its the same as looking for disappointment
