weird, i never think about them being 'friendly'

the baby crays are growing!! me and my friend counted the new batch of babies --> 73 babies!! and there are 22 from the last batch and i have 2 adults. that makes a total of 97 crayfish!!!

that's crazy D: and they will only have more and more... man those things could take over the world

haha not if their mommas eat them first!! i am planning on selling them when i have a good amount of young adults... and when i find out which tank the selling babies will go in then again if it works out with selling them, a big plastic container works just fine

that would be a lot of work, how long can they live?

i think about 5-6 years. my oldest and first cray is about 4.

so it turns out that some guy from texas from one of my forums want to but one of my crays! i have to find out shipping before i do anything though because i have no clue on how to ship things.

contact a few shipping companies, as i'm not sure the post office will ship animals lol

updates!!! the older crays above and the bigger one in the pics and the babies on the tail are the random whiteish ones with them

the bigger ones destroyed the tank and spread krill pieces all over the place!








two of the first batch babies have eggs in the baby tank.. and Momma Cray Jr. in the goldfish tank was the first of the babies- to have babies! they just hatched. i think MC Jr has the most beautiful color!





there are a lot more babies than i thought on her. before they hatched, there didnt look like there was that many





and Momma Cray is on her 3rd batch which has hatched and some have roamed and some are on her. i plan to move momma cray and the babies into a container and then once they are all roaming, i will put momma cray back so i dont have to spent 2 hours netting them out of the gravel

holy cow! wow do they ever breed fast! but the colours and patterns on them are stunning!!!

i'd want one for a pet, but i dunno what i would do with all them babies!!! wow!

yeah their colors are nice well if you have carnivorous fish like cichlids when you could just thow the babies in the tank as food but i dont know if they are illegal where you are they are really fin to watch grow up. i alway get excited when they have eggs.
