Hey guys , can cockatiels and general bird actually cry ? Because i woke up this norning after separating my birds last night the male was making this sorta desperate call and the female was going all kokoo but i did notice that her eyes were all watery as if she was crying ,i checked on her last night before going to bed and she was fine no tears or anything, i just put them back together and now their both fine.
So is it possible that she was crying ?

perhaps dust may be starting to irritate her eyes|?

I dunno but since i put them back together she seems fine her eyes are back to normal
