08:00 pm: soak for 12 hours, a spoon of seeds for each pair of birds







8.00 am:

fill the contents from the bowl to the strainer



Rinse very well with a lot of tap water.



Put the strainer inside to the pot and cover everything by a dish.




from this moment, it begins the germination process.
Let the seeds can germinate within the strainer for 24/48 hours, but keep in mind to rinse the seeds by tap water each 3/4 hours (to avoid the creation of molds).

When 24/48 hours have elapsed :

1) Rinse the seeds

2) dry the seeds within paper towel

3) mix the seeds with the fresh egg food

4) insert the content into the appropriate dishes.

There's also a thing called an easy sprouter for those of us that are less talented at this lol.

i can NEVER sprout for the life of me, no matter what i do, so i stay well away... too bad, my guys seemed to like it... but i made a bad batch last time and it gave the lovebirds bacterial infections... so best i leave the sprouting up to the experts ;D

I just use a mason jar, a wash cloth, hairband, and a bowl. I soak in the jar, then rinse the seeds and strain it, keep it in the jar, put the washcloth over the top, rubberband the cloth to the jar, and then turn the jar upside down at an angle in the bowl. It works just as well, though some seeds like the root in the cloth as if it were dirt.

maybe i will try this method it might help... though the only way ive successfully sprouted seed was literally growing it in soil and letting it grow into plants, then i would pluck out the plants and wash the plant and give it to the birds lol only way that works for me lol
