Toys and Stuff I made for Bandit (178 views)

Hello Guys. So Instead of making so many different posts of toys and stuff I've made for my bird Bandit... You all know that little brat. Who is cute and adorable and annoying and yeah lol.

I've made some toys after I found out some things I had were bird safe and I wanted to see if my little demon brat would like / appreciate the toys since I can't go out and buy him a billion things. His birthday is coming up so I decided to test to see if he liked the toys and stuff. He hasn't gotten used to some of them but some others he has nibbled.

So yeah I wanted to show you guys because casey said i should and yeah i hope you guys like.

To start off I got a toilet paper roll that does not have the glue on it. I stuffed some millet and an avicake in it and rolled up some paper to stuff the holes so he cannot cheat!

Foraging Tray(s)

These are just trays from like tv dinners lol I washed them with water (hot water) and then I let them dry.



I used two... I found one that was shallow and small and the other was deeper and a little bigger. but the same length.



I used straws, paper and food / treats.


I just cut the straws into different lengths






Add some paper strips


I added some food from his seed mix, a pinch of fruit and nut mix, a nutriberry crushed up, half of an avicake (for one) the other i did the rest of the food, a pinch of fruit and nut mix, the rest of the nutriberry and the rest of the avicake.

I made this for Cyndi's tiel Mouse when I went to her birthday party lol I thought its her birthday but he needed toys too I don't remember how I made this lol..

most people use stainless steel or nickel plated quick links or cut plastic chain but i like the straw idea too! i use plastic chain myself mostly, but straws work good for DIY stuff within a budget!
