butch had his first vet check up today ($99 later.... : . he did good he is going though a severe spring molt again. he weighs 33 grams. and he got his nails clipped too. he was nervous in the car going there but on the way back he was much happier and grooming himself and eye pinning his toys

everything was good for him? he's healthy?
glad he wasnt so stressed about it! he seems pretty resilient! and molting is starting here too

hes healthy when she caught him a few wing feathers fell out he always gets heavy spring molts.

i'm soooo glad he is healthy! dally molts very heavy and so does munch. both can look patchy. mango and tsuka molt gracefully

i am loving some of the feather though! he has molted some of his pink dyed (?) ones, probably a breeder marking. i am thinking about making a thread for out feather pics!!

you can even make toys out of his molted feathers too

thats what i plan on doing. i plan on making a bird cardboard cut out, making a mirror for the face, and sticking flight feathers in it.....and none of this was thought and planned out when i was supposed to be doing homework....

haha dont worry, i think about bird stuff too at work i like stringing their feathers up and hanging them, but munch tore hers apart lol

all birds like something different, so it's possible it's just not his ideal toy
