if you pruned the tree a bit, could it fit between where his cage is hanging and the dresser? dunno if that would make it too crowded. OR, what about trimming it and hanging it from the ceiling? would your parents allow you to do that? if you make a floor stand, you can always move it if you need to access the dresser.
but hanging it might be the better space saving option.

putting it on the floor or hanging it where the cage is hanging wouldnt work, there is less than 5' of space between my dresser and my night stand. not to mention a tank would be under it and butch gets enought seeds in my tank when he's hanging there! i look in and there are some plants growing in my tank it would be nice in the last pic if i could more my 20gal (on the left) next to my dresser (where the cage is) where it has been before, that would leave that little corner for the tree.. but that leaves about 360 pounds of water and gravel, not including any rocks or other things, against that wall which always make me nervous. i have this fear that my floor will collapse and if i got a double tank stand for 2 10gals i could put that under my shelf in the last pic, getting that tank on the floor off a milk crate! i could get that tank off the floor and put my firends tank with it and put one of the cray tanks on my dresser in the basement with the baby cray tank so when momma cray has babies they will be easier to transport. then the space on my dresser can be used as another play area. and hopefully i can get another bird to use all of this!!!

hopefully i wish i could have a floor playgym, but like you, we dont have room either. when we get a house, the tiels and mango will have their own room, where we will have room for many playgyms. until then, i can keep dreaming LOL

you still have a nice cage top and the insides of the cages are more amazing than mine, but your guys will just come out and can be taken out, befire lenny would only come out if i had his perched like butchs, then he became more tame.

i'd still love to have a floor model tree or even a PVC floor playgym.... but no room here lol
i wonder with a big tree, would butch want to come out more?

no he would probably be scared. i was thinking of grabbing him and putting him in lennys cage once i clean it so he can get used to the trees. if i got another tame bird and butch gets along (after quarentine) and the new bird likes the tree, i might just open the top of butchs cage and let him fly out. i did that with pumble when switching cages and ehe was barely tame and with time and working with him every day, he got tame. maybe butch will be the same. of course when i was training pumble, i had more time to take him out several times a day, now i have homework and more animals. it would be worth the try. the only fear is of him flying in the wall and falling behind my dresser again

is there a way to block off the back of the dresser when he is out? maybe wedge a blanket back there?

no its too big of a space. maybe i can muster up the courage to grab him and clips his wings, but that is very unlikely i cleaned out lennys cage yesterday and butch heard it being taken apart and he started screaming and flock calling thinking that lenny was going to come out
