I wanted to share photos of my lovebirds from when I got them until they got their adult plumage, so perhaps it could help other peach faced lovebird owners try to guess their lovebird's age.
After your bird has gone through it's first adult molt, it is impossible to tell age accurately!
Mango and Munch the first day home
Munch (the bluer one) was 9 weeks old
Mango (yellower one) was 10 weeks old
Mango--11 weeks
Munch 10 weeks
Mango-13 weeks
Munch 12 weeks
Mango 15 weeks
Munch 14 weeks
Mango 4 months (you can see one little peach coloured feather on his forehead!)
Munch 4 months
Both 5 months old
6 months old
7 months old
8 months old
1 year
After a year old, you cannot accurately age lovebirds unless you know the hatch date.
However, just for fun, these are the same birds as above at 2 years old

butch had pink under one of his wings, i think its a breeders mark ???
