mango and munch had rough plumage when i first brought them home, and both sported "stress bars" in their feathers. they were not on a good diet where i got them from, just seed. with me, they get seed, zupreem avian maintenance pellets, veggies, mash, and birdie bread. what a difference!! before: this was the first day home. and this is now:

munch had no tail when we got her and she had a patch of feathers plucked off her chest lol

her parents plucked her and mango, mango was plucked too, he had HALF a tail and his sides were plucked a bit

hmmmmmm here is the thing...why do parents pluck their babies? some of them eat the babies toes or beaks !! its freaky
