He doesn't get or eat carrots and he does have seed with orange dye, but it would have to be wet it looks like, to get in his feathers and look like that, and he doesn't really like that kind of seed The tree doesn't take up too much space, I could have just as easily trimmed the trunk off and hung it from the ceiling! I have enough of his favorite toys and mirrors on there that he will now move around on his own. And I have been taking him to see butch and he loves singingto butch and butchs pupils get really small and he puffs his head and some times sings back. Leon likes to play with butchs beak. I am a little unsure having them meet with butchs feathers still coming in and that weird stuff on his face I would take butch to the vet to have that checked out but that's $100 and he gets super stressed in the car and being there and when they hold him imight just ask the lady that clips their nails to wash his face seeming that she washed him last time when he landed in soap

i think the seeds could be the culprit. he may have splashed his face taking a drink or something like that and when he went to eat, his face could have brushed against the dyed seed by mistake. to me it looks more like a colour stain than anything
