my tree is up after finding the perfect tree and cutting it down, pressure washing it 3 times and tying it all together  i also have a big 2ft rope ladder in there.   Leon loves singing to his toy in the tree  to give you an idea of the size, here is a side shot with leon    i also have a 1/4th of a clear shower curtain under it to keep my carpet clean and i used clear Command hooks to tie it to my wall |

Technically he is since I have had him since may 14th but I am waiting until butchs pin feathers come in until I put their cages close. I have had them in the same room so they can see and sing to eachother but butch was unsure of Leon. Since butchs last molt he just looks so old around his eyes  I worry about exposing him to Leon |

well, in time. could be a rough molt sometimes dally loses feathers around her eyes when she molts really heavy. looks so ragged |

It's hard to tell. He also looks like he got something yellow brown on his feathers but I dot know what it would be. It doesnt seem to be causing any harm so Im not worrying about it too much

nope, which is why it confuses me. and its not like it would be a 'nest' of mites because it not itchy... there is just nothing that would leave his feathers like that. i will have to try to get a picture |

ok not the best pics but..... its the tan stuff, it actually orangeish but the camera is dumb  and he was blinking in this one, his eye is fine  annnnd... leon moving his beak very fast  |

has he had carrots recently? or maybe any dyed seed in his seed mix?
i am jealous you have room for the tree D: lol i am loving it though, and obviously leon is too!
