Soooo....
Here's the deal.
I've added some new features to your profiles and changed around a few things. Your mini profile (the list of text and such under your username/avatar in your posts) now only shows the NUMBER of birds you have. However, in your profiles (go to your profile, edit profile, personal settings, etc) you will see some text fields. Go there, enjoy the new features. You can fill in what you like, or leave blank what you like. You can thoroughly introduce your birds in your profiles and list your hobbies and interests.
Please note, there is now a feature to display your name. This is totally optional, you do not have to feel obligated to use it. HOWEVER: Members under 18 post their names at their own risks, this forum does not take any responsibility to the risks involved. Please do not post your full name online, as it is publicly shown. This is the internet. Though I'd love to hope everyone on this forum are true friendly genuine people... you can find some crazies out there and my concern is for everyone to enjoy this forum in a friendly and safe manner.
As mentioned in another post, we now have a part in your profile that lists the number of contests you won. This goes for ALL official forum-run contests here, including pet of the month, toy of the month, bird of the month, etc. There is no trophies as of yet to display in your profiles, and I doubt there will be. However, awards can be given via signatures, if wished (this is up for discussion). Hall of fame trophies will continue to be made of course, as a little prize for winning!
We will also have monthly newsletters going out to your emails, courtesy of our friendly admin Lauraloveliness!
There will be some new things being discussed with the staff over the next while, so stay tuned for updates
