Well your winters are like 60* sooooooooo thats warm compared to ours my room is like 65* during the winter

D: baruch, i love your aviary. i want it!!!! lol okay, so your flight photos are good, but here's another tip for you now that you've tried. see your photos how they are focusing in the background? find that focus on your camera screen BEFORE snapping the photo. and then try to predict when the bird flies into that range. so take a look at how close your bird is flying to you. how close does the bird get to the camera when you take a picture? now, take your camera and focus it on an object of the equal distance away and then wait for the bird to fly that close to the camera. you will find that you will get clearer flight photos i especially like tweety's second last photo! it'd make a nice avatar... gonna make it for you, just for fun, you dont have to use it if you dont want to lol
