So my husband had kept his empty 5-Hour Energy drink bottles to use for something, but he changed his mind and was going to throw them out... so I snagged them, cleaned them, and took the wrap off of them. I filled them with pony beads so they rattle and I drilled a hole in the lid. Then I strung leather through the lids and tied a knot on the inside to hang them. Something Munch cannot destroy easily or shred into a nest, AND it's a noisemaker, just what she loves! I am happy to report that I got woken up by the sound of her beating the heck out of it against the side of the cage!! She loves it! I shall try to get a photo of her playing with it, or even a video, but I'll need luck for that one, lately she sees the camera and decides she wants a close up lol  |

I also have that 5 hour energy drink! It's my moms but she never drank it so I'll ask her

what a great idea!!  she likes nudging them around, but what if she had a string to grab and really bang it against the cage? like if you make 2 holes across from each other and just big enough for a string.... like Dotted lines are just so the computer doesnt off set my pic, dashed lines represent the string ... ~ the lid ---| |---- strings sticking out of the sides, obviously would be flopped over and beaded maybe.. ....| | bottom then she could really grab on and have fun!! |

she shreds string into nest material unfortunately lol and she really does bash them around, but she only nudged them in the video lol she was more interested in watching me with the camera... as i said, lately she is REALLY focused on the camera and me lol

it was an old leather toy she didnt touch any more lol
i use leather or chain with her, its the only stringing materials she doesnt shred
however, i made her a foot toy out of poly rope as an experiment to see if she shreds that lol so far so good.

plastic fibers. i actually really like the stuff! i will definitely order more eventually, it's worth it. very sturdy and durable and comes in pretty colours!
